Bengali Language Expert

About the Role

We're looking for Bengali language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Bengali-language content. Your linguistic insight will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Bengali — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to native and near-native Bengali speakers from all backgrounds. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Bengali translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Bengali
• Provide structured feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Bengali
• Strong written communication skills in both Bengali and English
• Solid command of contemporary Bengali usage across different contexts
• Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale
• Attention to detail and consistency
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in translation, localization, or editing
• Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Bengali variations (Bangladesh, West Bengal, diaspora communities, etc.)
