What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related domains to design complex, rigorous problem statements
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning in your field
- Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
- Help push the frontier of what AI understands about materials science
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related discipline
- Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent areas
- Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB — whether from research, coursework, or projects
- Exceptional written communicator who can translate complex science into clear, structured content
- Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold your work to a high standard
- Currently based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in computational materials science or simulation-based research
- Familiarity with scientific communication or peer review processes
