What You'll Do
- Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to test and benchmark AI performance across areas like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
- Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate sound scientific reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to help AI systems improve over time
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and logical rigor
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI experience required — your chemistry expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
- Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
