Voice Recording Specialist

About the Role

What if the sound of your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for Voice Recording Specialists to record natural speech samples that teach AI systems how real humans talk — helping the next generation of voice technology sound less robotic and more human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No voice acting experience or technical background required — just a clear speaking voice, a quiet space, and a willingness to be heard.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, natural voice samples following provided scripts and prompts
• Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of speech patterns
• Ensure recordings are clean, crisp, and free of background noise
• Complete metadata forms describing the context and characteristics of each recording
• Participate in both scripted reading sessions and natural conversational recordings

Who You Are

• Clear, natural speaking voice — accents and regional speech patterns welcome
• Access to a quiet recording environment at home
• A microphone, headset, or smartphone capable of capturing good-quality audio
• Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No voice acting, audio production, or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in broadcasting, podcasting, teaching, customer service, or public speaking
• Familiarity with basic audio recording equipment or software
• Ability to modulate delivery across different styles — formal, conversational, expressive
• Multilingual speakers or those with distinctive regional accents are especially encouraged to apply
