Professional Voice Actor - Italian

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-language voice actors to record professional audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding vocal presence, native-level Italian fluency, and access to quality recording equipment.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and creative prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, emotional authenticity, and overall quality
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to help improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review and suggest refinements to scripts to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Owner of a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
• Naturally attuned to nuances of tone, pacing, pronunciation, and emotional register
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple voice styles — commercial, narrative, character, or documentary
• Familiarity with regional Italian dialects or accent variations
• Background in audio production, broadcasting, or performing arts
• Prior work evaluating or reviewing recorded speech or audio content
