Voice Actor - German Speakers

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for professional German-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding voice, fluency in German, and a professional recording setup.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality German voice samples based on provided scripts and creative prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to help improve AI-generated speech quality
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and authentic natural delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar voice-over work
• Native or near-native fluency in German with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Equipped with a high-quality microphone and a quiet, acoustically suitable recording environment
• Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging recordings across a range of styles and tones
• Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, prosody, rhythm, and vocal clarity
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple German regional accents or dialects
• Background in broadcast, film dubbing, e-learning narration, or commercial voice-over
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
• Prior exposure to AI voice evaluation or speech data projects
