Voice Actor - Italian Speakers

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for professional Italian-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality vocal content and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, fluency in Italian, and a professional recording setup.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality Italian voice samples based on provided scripts and creative prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, expressiveness, and overall quality
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve how AI-generated speech sounds to native Italian ears
• Review and refine scripts to ensure they read naturally and are suited for vocal delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar professional voice work
• Fluent in Italian — native or near-native command of the language
• Equipped with a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging performances across a range of tones and styles
• Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity in speech
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with audio editing or home studio production
• Familiarity with regional Italian dialects or accents
• Background in broadcast, theatre, film dubbing, or commercial voice work
• Prior exposure to AI tools or voice evaluation workflows
