Job Title: Data Partnerships Lead

Job Type: Full-time

The Role

We are looking for a Data Partnerships Lead to build and scale our Data Partnerships team, helping companies unlock new revenue opportunities by contributing operational workflow data for AI training and evaluation.

You will define the strategy for sourcing and acquiring partnership opportunities, lead relationships with our most strategic partners, and build the team, processes, and playbooks that enable the function to scale.

What You'll Do

Define and execute the overall strategy for acquiring and growing Data Partnerships. Build, hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Data Partnerships Managers. Establish pipeline generation strategies, outbound motions, and partnership playbooks that can scale across industries. Personally lead relationships with high-value partner companies and executive stakeholders. Coach the team on discovery, qualification, negotiation, and consultative partnership development. Develop repeatable frameworks for evaluating partnership opportunities and prioritizing the highest-impact companies. Partner with Product, Operations, Legal, and Data teams to improve onboarding and partner experience. Build reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics to continuously improve acquisition efforts. Help shape pricing, partnership structures, commercial strategy, and market positioning. Foster a culture of execution, customer obsession, and continuous improvement within the team.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience leading Business Development, Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales teams in high-growth environments. Track record of building repeatable partnership or commercial acquisition programs from the ground up. Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing customer-facing teams. Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships with founders, operators, and senior business leaders. Exceptional commercial judgment and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies and complex partnership cycles. Comfortable discussing AI, data privacy, security, confidentiality, and data ownership with executive stakeholders. Highly entrepreneurial with a bias toward execution and a willingness to build systems from scratch.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading Strategic Partnerships or Business Development organizations in AI, SaaS, data, marketplaces, or technology companies. Experience in Venture Capital, particularly in investment or platform roles with a strong network across startup ecosystems. Experience in Private Equity portfolio operations, value creation, or similar roles supporting operational initiatives across portfolio companies. Familiarity with data licensing, data acquisition, or emerging AI infrastructure markets.

Compensation & Benefits Notice

The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $130,000 –$180,000. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies. micro1 provides a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, a 401(K) plan with a company match, and additional benefits designed to support a high-performing, remote-first workforce.
