Job Title: Data Partnerships Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Remote
The Role
We are looking for a Data Partnerships Manager to identify, engage, and close partnerships with companies interested in contributing workflow data for AI training and evaluation.
You will own the partnership process end-to-end: sourcing companies, running discovery conversations, understanding business workflows, navigating privacy and security discussions, negotiating commercial terms, and onboarding new partners.
What You'll Do
Source and engage companies with valuable operational workflows across a variety of industries. Build relationships with founders, executives, and operational leaders. Conduct discovery calls to understand business processes, workflow complexity, and partnership potential. Educate prospective partners on how workflow data is used to train and evaluate AI systems. Lead conversations around privacy, security, anonymization, data ownership, and compliance requirements. Design partnership structures that align company goals with AI customer needs. Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements. Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality partnership opportunities. Collaborate with internal operations, product, and data teams to successfully onboard new partners. Help develop repeatable acquisition strategies, messaging, and partnership playbooks as the program scales.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Enterprise Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or a similar customer-facing role. Demonstrated success sourcing, negotiating, and closing B2B partnerships or complex commercial deals. Strong communication skills and ability to build credibility with senior decision-makers. Comfortable discussing sensitive topics including privacy, security, confidentiality, and data ownership. Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and compelling way to non-technical audiences. Strong discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skills. Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline development. Proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot or similar platforms. Highly resourceful, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in AI, data, SaaS, marketplaces, or technology partnerships. Experience working with SMBs, founders, and owner-operated businesses. Familiarity with data licensing, data acquisition, or emerging AI infrastructure markets.
