Pandas Specialist

In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as a Pandas Specialist (SME) to create realistic, challenging computer-based tasks using Python Pandas and related data-analysis workflows. You will design practical Pandas tasks, document them clearly in SuperAnnotate, ensure your setup supports the task, and record yourself executing the task on your computer.

Tasks may include loading datasets, cleaning data, filtering rows, grouping and aggregating data, merging datasets, handling missing values, reshaping data, exporting files, creating basic visualizations, or performing practical business/data-analysis workflows. Your work will help train advanced AI models to better understand how real users complete data manipulation and analysis tasks.

Your Pandas expertise directly helps improve the world’s premier AI models by teaching them how real users complete practical Python data-analysis workflows.

Requirements: - Hands-on experience using Pandas for data cleaning, analysis, transformation, reporting, or data-processing workflows. - English proficiency at B2 level or higher to understand project instructions, document tasks clearly, and communicate with the project team. - Comfortable using a computer, managing files, running Python scripts or notebooks, installing packages where needed, and recording workflows. - Ability to come up with realistic and challenging Pandas tasks that reflect actual data analysis, reporting, finance, operations, research, or business use cases. - Strong understanding of Pandas basics such as DataFrames, Series, indexing, filtering, sorting, grouping, merging, reshaping, missing values, and file input/output. - Ability to ensure your setup supports the task, including having Python/Pandas available, datasets prepared, files accessible, and any required references ready before recording. - High attention to detail when preparing the task, executing the workflow, and checking that the recording is complete and understandable. - Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones. - Additional professional skills are appreciated, including data analysis, Python, statistics, finance, operations, reporting, research, automation, or other computer-based workflows.
