We're hiring MBA interns for quality assurance and operations for our STEM and engineering evaluation track. This is a 12-week, full-immersion internship. You'll oversee the work produced by our STEM master's evaluators and make sure it meets the quality bar that AI lab clients expect. Around 20% of your time goes toward structured AI training: how large language models work, how RLHF fits into the development pipeline, and what quality standards look like for mathematical, technical, and code evaluation data. No prior AI knowledge is required. You'll learn everything on the job. The other 80% is hands-on QA, operations, and product testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Quality-checking STEM evaluation output. Our STEM evaluators (master's students in engineering, CS, math, and physics) produce RLHF preference rankings on mathematical reasoning, code evaluations across multiple programming languages, and technical fact-checking. Each evaluation includes a rubric score and a written rationale. Your job is to audit that output. You'll check whether evaluators are tracing reasoning chains correctly, whether their code assessments hold up, and whether quality is consistent. Math and code evaluation is the highest-demand category in AI evaluation, and errors here are costly: a wrong sign in a reasoning chain or a missed bug in a code review can corrupt training data. 2. Calibration across the STEM team. Math has right answers, but evaluation quality is about more than correctness. Is the evaluator catching subtle reasoning errors or just checking final answers? Are code reviews assessing efficiency and readability, or only correctness? You'll run inter-annotator agreement checks, calibrate new evaluators during onboarding, and make sure the team is evaluating at the depth clients expect. 3. Testing Sovrano AI's products and tools. We're building internal tooling and AI-powered products (interview preparation agents, evaluation platforms, workflow automation). You'll test them as a real user would, finding bugs, edge cases, and UX issues, and documenting everything clearly for the product team. 4. Process improvement. With your MBA and 3-5 years of professional experience, you've seen how technical operations and quality processes work. You'll bring that perspective to how we run our STEM evaluation pipeline: onboarding, quality feedback, client deliverables, and reporting. 5. Contributing to industry benchmarks. The evaluation work you do here feeds directly into the benchmarks top-tier AI labs use to assess and publicly report the factual capabilities of their models. When OpenAI, Google DeepMind, or Anthropic measure how well their models reason about STEM subjects, datasets built by evaluators like you are part of what they test against. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in an MBA program (or recently completed) 3-5 years of professional experience before your MBA, ideally with a technical or engineering background Fluent in English plus at least one other European language Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace NICE TO HAVE Prior experience in engineering, technology, data science, product management, or technical consulting Enough quantitative comfort to audit math and code evaluations (you're reviewing reviewers, not solving the problems yourself) Experience working across cultures or in international teams Comfort with structured data, spreadsheets, and basic analytics CONTRACT & PAYMENT TERMS
