MBA Intern - AI Operations, Marketing

We're hiring MBA interns for quality assurance and operations for our marketing evaluation track. This is a 12-week, full-immersion internship. You'll oversee the work produced by our marketing master's evaluators across multiple European languages and make sure it meets the quality bar that AI lab clients expect. Around 20% of your time goes toward structured AI training: how large language models work, how RLHF fits into the development pipeline, and what quality standards look like for marketing and multilingual AI evaluation data. No prior AI knowledge is required. You'll learn everything on the job. The other 80% is hands-on QA, operations, and product testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Quality-checking marketing evaluation output. Our marketing evaluators (master's students in marketing and communications) produce RLHF preference rankings on AI-generated marketing copy across European languages, brand safety red-team reports, and market research evaluations. Each evaluation includes a rubric score and a written rationale. Your job is to audit that output. You'll check whether evaluators are catching cultural and tonal issues correctly, whether their judgments on persuasiveness and in-market effectiveness hold up, and whether quality is consistent across languages and evaluators. When an AI lab client needs multilingual marketing evaluation data, you're the person who makes sure the quality is there. 2. Calibration across the marketing team. Marketing evaluation is more subjective than finance or law. What counts as "culturally appropriate" in Spanish ad copy versus German ad copy is a judgment call. You'll run inter-annotator agreement checks, identify where evaluators are diverging on subjective criteria, and build consensus on where the line is. You'll calibrate new evaluators during onboarding and make sure quality standards don't drift over time. 3. Testing Sovrano AI's products and tools. We're building internal tooling and AI-powered products (interview preparation agents, evaluation platforms, workflow automation). You'll test them as a real user would, finding bugs, edge cases, and UX issues, and documenting everything clearly for the product team. 4. Process improvement. With your MBA and 3-5 years of professional experience, you've seen how marketing operations and quality processes work in real companies. You'll bring that perspective to how we run our marketing evaluation pipeline: onboarding, quality feedback, client deliverables, and cross-language coordination. 5. Contributing to industry benchmarks. The evaluation work you do here feeds directly into the benchmarks top-tier AI labs use to assess and publicly report the factual capabilities of their models. When OpenAI, Google DeepMind, or Anthropic measure how well their models reason about marketing, datasets built by evaluators like you are part of what they test against. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in an MBA program (or recently completed) 3-5 years of professional experience before your MBA, ideally in marketing or a related field Fluent in English plus at least one other European language Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace NICE TO HAVE Prior experience in digital marketing, brand management, content strategy, advertising, or market research Experience running campaigns across multiple European markets Experience working across cultures or in international teams Comfort with structured data, spreadsheets, and basic analytics CONTRACT & PAYMENT TERMS
