We are commissioning a paid study on the methodologies used to evaluate and select e-commerce platforms for Direct-to-Consumer brands. Understanding the structural requirements and cost modeling behind these decisions helps us map the current landscape of commerce technologies. This research will capture the expert workflows used to rank and recommend platforms based on specific business needs.
You will produce a comprehensive written guide of approximately 4,000 words detailing your platform evaluation methodology across eight structural requirements. Alongside this written component, you will capture a 30-45 minute narrated screen recording. In this video, you will demonstrate a live platform recommendation workflow for a specific DTC brand case study, evaluating at least five different platforms. You will also walk through all-in cost modeling and explain how you arrive at your final ranked recommendations.
We are looking for senior e-commerce consultants, technical architects, and digital strategists who actively advise DTC brands on technology selection. You should have extensive hands-on experience evaluating major commerce platforms and building total cost of ownership models. We welcome independent consultants, agency strategists, and in-house enterprise architects with a strong background in commerce infrastructure.
