About Turing:
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.
Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will work on cutting-edge initiatives to fine-tune large language models by grounding advanced sports analytics and fantasy-sports domain logic. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of fantasy sports ecosystem mechanics—spanning league setup, scoring rules, draft value frameworks, and playoff projections—and the ability to translate complex league rules into deterministic spreadsheet logic. You will play a direct role in evaluating AI model capabilities across sports-and-fantasy tools, ensuring generated outputs match real-world professional standards.
Requirements:
- Core Experience: 5+ years in sports analytics, fantasy-sports content/tools development, or league commissioning.
- Domain Expertise: Deep, hands-on familiarity with diverse scoring systems (e.g., PPR vs. standard), draft rankings, player tiers, roster limits, and standings tiebreaker logic.
- Writing & Logic Translation: Strong, concise professional writing skills with a proven ability to translate complex league rules into deterministic spreadsheet formulas and structured parameters.
- Analytical & Creative Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities to design, evaluate, and calibrate fantasy draft boards, scoreboards, and projection models.
- Technical Infrastructure: Personal desktop/laptop equipped with a stable, high-speed internet connection in a remote setup.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will serve as the domain expert setting the quality bar for sports and fantasy AI applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Authoring Skills & Guardrails: Defining discovery parameters (sport, league size, scoring format, roster settings) and guardrails (positional limits, PPR vs. standard, tier-based value vs. raw points) for AI builders and canvases.
- Context & Interview Co-Design: Co-designing interview workflows and validating context files, including player projections, roster exports, and customized scoring rule sets.
- Grounding Golden Assets: Verifying scoring formulas, standings and playoff logic, draft-value calculations, and validation lists across flagship cases like fantasy draft boards and game scoreboards.
- Quality Sign-Off & Verification: Reviewing and signing off on AI-generated outputs to ensure complete alignment with professional sports and fantasy industry practice.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
