Position Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Senior AI Engineer with 5–8 years of software engineering experience and a strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms to design, build, and scale AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced Python developer with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI frameworks. This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to mentor engineers while delivering scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and intelligent services.
  • Architect and implement AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, and vector search technologies.
  • Apply strong Data Structures and Algorithms principles to build efficient, scalable, and high-performance systems.
  • Develop and optimize backend services, APIs, and AI pipelines using Python.
  • Integrate AI models with internal applications, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
  • Optimize AI applications for performance, latency, scalability, reliability, and cost.
  • Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices for AI application development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on solution design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements in system performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of professional data science experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing AI or Machine Learning applications.
  • Strong expertise in Python and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or open-source models).
  • Experience building production AI applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
  • Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector embeddings, and semantic search solutions.
  • Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, FAISS, or Milvus.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.
