Senior Software Engineer (Go/Golang) – Agentic AI / Data Cloud

In this role, you'll work on production-quality engineering tasks, review AI-generated code, provide technical feedback, and help improve the capabilities of next-generation AI models. This is a fully remote contractor opportunity with immediate start availability.

COMPENSATION

• $50 per hour

• 40 hours per week (8 hours/day)

• 4–6 hours of overlap with Pacific Time (PST)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking experienced Go (Golang) engineers with:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience using Go

• Strong understanding of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, memory management, and performance optimization

• Experience building and maintaining production-grade backend services or distributed systems

• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative software development

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar

• Strong coding, testing, debugging, and code review skills

• Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities

Successful candidates will also demonstrate:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean coding practices

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• The ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• A high degree of ownership and attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While not required, experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Building or maintaining large-scale distributed systems

• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• AI infrastructure, LLM tooling, or agentic AI workflows

• Data platforms, data pipelines, or cloud-native architectures

• Evaluating, benchmarking, or improving AI-generated code

• Mentoring engineers or conducting technical code reviews

• Job experience at Google
