We are looking for a detail-oriented Generalist Video Annotator to support AI data annotation and evaluation projects across video, image, and text-based content. This role is ideal for someone who can carefully review videos, identify key details, and write clear, structured explanations about what they observe.
Responsibilities
- Watch and review video content based on project-specific guidelines
- Identify important visual details, actions, objects, people, scenes, and events
- Write clear descriptions, summaries, and reasoning for video annotations
- Rate video quality, relevance, accuracy, safety, or other assigned criteria
- Flag unclear, low-quality, or policy-sensitive content when needed
- Follow detailed annotation instructions and maintain consistency across tasks
- Provide feedback on edge cases and help improve annotation quality
Requirements
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Prior writing experience is required, such as content writing, creative writing, journalism, research writing, copywriting, or detailed review writing
- Ability to describe visual content clearly and objectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable reviewing videos for long periods of time
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply feedback quickly
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Prior experience in data annotation, video review, QA, content moderation, or AI training is a plus
