About the Role

We are looking for experienced Legal professionals to contribute to realistic professional-writing and legal-domain use cases across business, academic, technical, and career-related contexts.

The ideal candidate will have strong legal expertise, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to produce clear, structured, accurate, and well-supported content in a professional tone. Candidates should be comfortable applying U.S.-specific legal practices and maintaining awareness of relevant U.S. laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and jurisdictional considerations.

Experts should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Business, Corporate & Commercial Law: Business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, franchise law, private equity, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, and life sciences transactions.
• Banking, Finance & Securities: Banking law, capital markets, financial services regulation, fintech law, securities regulation, bankruptcy law, public finance, pensions, and tax law.
• Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Civil litigation, appellate law, class actions, personal injury and torts, product liability, professional liability, trusts and estates litigation, and e-discovery.
• Criminal, Compliance & Regulatory Law: Criminal law, criminal defense, investigations, white-collar law, white-collar compliance, administrative and regulatory law, antitrust and competition law, consumer protection, legal ethics and professional responsibility, and government contracts.
• Employment, Benefits & Immigration: Employment and labor law, employee benefits and ERISA, and immigration law.
• Intellectual Property, Technology & Data: Intellectual property, copyright, patents, trademarks, cybersecurity law, data privacy, communications law, and technology transactions.
• Real Estate, Construction & Environmental Law: Real estate law, construction law, land use and zoning, environmental law, energy law, and maritime and admiralty law.
• Healthcare & Specialized Industries: Healthcare law, food, drug, and medical device law, education law, entertainment and media law, sports law, and insurance law.
• Individuals, Families & Estates: Family law, elder law, estate planning, trusts and estates, and private client and wealth law.
• Public, International & Community Law: International trade, municipal law, Native American and tribal law, and public-sector law.

Experience in legal research, contract review, litigation, regulatory compliance, legal operations, legal technology, or cross-functional collaboration with business teams is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate realistic professional-writing and legal-domain scenarios.
• Develop high-quality business, technical, academic, and career-related legal content.
• Apply appropriate legal terminology, tone, structure, and formatting for different audiences.
• Use practical knowledge of legal practice, research methods, documentation, and workflows.
• Incorporate relevant U.S. laws, regulations, legal standards, and jurisdictional considerations.
• Review content for legal accuracy, clarity, consistency, completeness, and professional quality.
• Identify inaccuracies, unsupported legal claims, ambiguities, compliance risks, and jurisdictional issues.
• Provide expert feedback to improve the quality and realism of legal-related tasks.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate and refine legal content and professional use cases.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional legal experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in at least one or more of the listed legal practice areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating, reviewing, analyzing, or managing professional legal content.
• Strong understanding of U.S. legal practices, regulations, and industry expectations.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and accurately.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and issue-spotting skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Business, Compliance, Finance, HR, Product, Technology, or Operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Active or previous admission to a U.S. state bar is preferred where applicable.
• Experience in U.S.-focused legal roles, law firms, corporate legal departments, government, academia, or regulated industries.
• Experience with legal research databases, contract lifecycle management tools, e-discovery platforms, or legal technology.
• Experience reviewing content for regulatory compliance, legal ethics, privacy, risk, or reputational concerns.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, technology, government, education, or life sciences.
• Experience developing legal memoranda, contracts, case summaries, compliance documents, policies, legal guides, or professional communications.

Offer Details

• Commitment Required: 40 hours per week with 8 hours of overlap with PST
• Engagement Type: Contractor
• Engagement Length: Up to 5 weeks
• Candidates may be selected based on their specific legal specialization and relevant U.S. legal domain expertise.
