micro1 is engaging Claude Cowork Users to participate in a customer's project focused on advancing the development and application of AI coding agents in real-world STEM environments. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. The opportunity is tailored for professionals who have practical, hands-on experience utilizing AI coding tools in complex technical scenarios and can clearly articulate their workflows, problem-solving methods, and the impact of AI agents on their projects.
Scope of Work Submit high-quality, detailed examples of real-world technical challenges where AI coding agents were instrumental to your workflow. Describe, in writing and/or verbally, the specific tools, strategies, and decision-making processes used to deploy AI agents in STEM environments. Demonstrate how you approached complex scenarios—such as navigating large codebases, debugging, or making architectural changes—leveraging AI assistance. Participate in interactive sessions or research studies evaluating the practical effectiveness of AI agents in technical problem-solving. Provide candid feedback and insights on current AI coding tools, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement based on your experience. Collaborate with project facilitators to refine agent-guided workflows for greater technical accuracy and usability.
Preferred Qualifications Active professional experience in a STEM field, regularly engaging with real-world coding, data, or engineering challenges. Demonstrated expertise in applying AI coding agents and related tools for purposes extending beyond basic code generation or autocomplete. Strong written and verbal communication skills for clearly describing technical concepts, workflows, and tool usage. Proven ability to solve ambiguous and complex technical issues, with examples of end-to-end feature development or architectural problem-solving using AI agents. Familiarity with navigating and understanding large, intricate codebases or technical systems. Capacity to collaborate with others, share constructive critiques, and adapt suggestions for AI tool improvement. Interest in contributing to the evolution of next-generation AI systems by sharing real-world insights and feedback.
