micro1 is engaging Claude Science Users to contribute expert insights and technical experience to a customer's project centered on AI coding agents. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work Demonstrate and document real-world use cases of AI coding agents within complex STEM projects, highlighting distinct workflows and outcomes. Describe the challenges tackled using AI coding agents, such as navigating large codebases, debugging, building features, or architectural innovation. Articulate, with precision, the tools and methodologies employed, including how AI agents were integrated into technical problem-solving processes. Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on the strengths, limitations, and context-specific performance of AI agents across diverse technical scenarios. Contribute examples, insights, and structured data that help inform improvements in AI agent reasoning and task execution. Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators to refine task guidelines and clarify deliverable expectations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Current STEM professional with hands-on experience applying AI coding agents in real technical settings. Demonstrated ability to handle complex, ambiguous, or large-scale technical challenges using AI tools. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and thoroughness. Familiarity with multiple AI coding agents, tools, or frameworks—especially those extending beyond basic autocomplete or code suggestion. Proven track record of contributing to projects involving large codebases, system-level architecture, or innovative problem-solving. Comfort working independently, providing detailed documentation and actionable feedback without supervision. Interest in shaping the evolution and capabilities of next-generation AI technology through real-world technical insight.
