Dating App Users: Feedback on Profile Photos and Prompts
What We're Researching
We're running a paid study on how people perceive and evaluate adult dating profiles. The goal is to understand what makes a profile engaging and to provide actionable advice on photo choices and written prompts. Your feedback helps identify which elements stand out positively and which could use improvement.
How It Works
You will review up to ten screenshots of an adult's dating profile during this remote session. For each profile, you will evaluate the selected photos and written prompts, leaving kind and specific feedback. Please note that non-sexual shirtless photos may appear in the review set. You must maintain strict confidentiality by not saving, sharing, or contacting the profile owners.
Who This Is For
We welcome adults who are familiar with modern dating apps and comfortable providing constructive criticism. You should be able to articulate why a photo or prompt works well or falls flat. We are looking for participants who can deliver useful, respectful feedback without being overly harsh.
