What We're Researching
We're running a paid study on how people perceive and evaluate dating app profiles. The goal is to understand what makes a profile stand out and how individuals present themselves online. Your insights will help establish best practices for choosing photos and writing engaging prompts.
How It Works
You will review up to ten screenshots of an adult's dating profile in an async desktop task. We will ask you to provide kind, specific feedback on their photo choices and written prompts. During the review, you may encounter non-sexual shirtless photos. You must keep all profile information strictly confidential and agree not to save, share, or contact the profile owners.
Who This Is For
We welcome active dating app users, online dating coaches, and anyone comfortable giving constructive advice on personal profiles. You must be able to write thoughtful, respectful feedback that helps the user improve their presentation. A sharp eye for detail and a polite communication style are required.
